Sesame Chili Oil Noodles

This black sesame chili oil noodles is about to knock your socks off. The nutty, earthy flavor of black sesame is the perfect pairing for the fiery kick of chili oil. You might be doing the happy dance with every bite.

Ingredients
  

  • soba noodles

Black sesame paste

  • 2 tbsp roasted black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • minced garlic
  • minced ginger

Serving

  • 1.2 tbsp hot chili oil
  • sesame seeds for garnishing
  • green onions for garnishing
  • boiled egg (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook your desired type of noodles according to the package instructions and set aside. 
  • In a blender, add roasted black sesame, olive oil, honey, and peanut butter. Blend until you get a creamy consistency.
  • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic and ginger. 
  • In another bowl, add the cooked noodles together with black sesame paste and, the sauce. Toss to coat the noodles. The sauce proportion will depend on how much your noodles are. 
  • Serve noodles in a bowl garnished with extra chili oil, green onion, and/or a boiled egg.
