If you’ve never tried air fryer pork belly bites, now’s the time. These crispy, sticky chunks of pork are super easy to make and pack a ton of flavor. You get that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little tang, all wrapped up in a caramelized glaze. The air fryer gets the pork belly golden and crisp without all the mess of deep frying. I like to make a quick sauce on the side with the leftover marinade—it’s great for drizzling. Serve it with rice, noodles, or just eat it straight. I promise you’ll live these bites and make them on repeat. Let’s get cooking.
Rub pork belly pieces with salt and let it sit for 5–10 minutes to draw out moisture and clean the meat.
Rinse and pat dry using paper towels.
Make the marinade
In a bowl, mix together: soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, five-spice powder, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and honey
Marinate the pork
Toss pork belly in the remaining marinade.
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours if you’ve got the time.
Air fry
Preheat your air fryer to 450°F.
Arrange pork belly in a single layer.
Cook for 15 minutes, and flip halfway.
Cook the sauce
Heat the reserved marinade over medium heat.
Add a splash of water to thin it out. Stir until it starts to bubble and thicken.
Keep in mind it’ll thicken more as it cools.
Serve
Drizzle sauce over the pork belly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped cilantro.
Serve hot.
