How did I get into food blogging?

Hi friends, welcome! My name is Sa, thanks for checking out my repertoire. 

I was born and grew up in Da Nang, Vietnam. Most of my teenage years were immersed in the cuisine of the region. It has been a decade of being away from home and living here in the US. What did I miss if you ask? Mostly food. 😀

That’s why this blog was created as my cookbook to remind me of the vibrant, delicious, and sometimes mysterious world of Asian cooking. It’s also a place where I share with you the culture, the food, and everything in between. 

Believe it or not, I never got to fully cook on my own until my senior year of college. I was always an assistant to my chef mom, auntie, and grandma. What did I do as an assistant? Well, prepping food, cleaning, and washing dishes. But, I’m glad that I get to spend time with the people I love and learned the secrets to every dish that they made. I’ll be sharing those with you. 🙂

Cooking is therapeutic for me because it has helped me unwind and encouraged my creactivity, and I hope it will do the same for you. At Wikisizzle, the food I make isn’t complicated but rather simple everyday meals. I hope you discover some Asian flavors through my website and make cooking an enjoyable experience.
